THE ORGANIZATION USES ITS MEMBERSHIP DUES TO PROMOTE INTEREST OF PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ADVANCE THE STANDARDS OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO USES ITS MEMBERSHIP DUES TO REPRESENT MEMBERS INTEREST IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE CORNWALL CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOL BOARD AND TO OFFER FINANCIAL AID TO THE COMMUNITY OF STUDENTS AND PARENTS OF STUDENTS. FUNDS ARE ALSO USED TO OFFSET THE COSTS OF TUITION AND TEXTBOOKS FOR FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY WHO HAVE STUDENTS ENTERING COLLEGE.
