SMS Opt-In Disclosure
By opting in to Alignmint SMS, you consent to receive informational and transactional text messages from Alignmint (a product of InFocus Ministries, Inc.) related to:
- Volunteer event reminders, schedule updates, and sign-up confirmations
- Donor communications including donation receipts, thank-you messages, and campaign updates
- Event confirmations, reminders, and check-in instructions
- Organization announcements and community updates
Message frequency varies. You may receive approximately 1–10 messages per month, though frequency may increase during active campaigns or event periods.
Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

Your consent is not required as a condition of any purchase. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, shared, or distributed to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

1. Program Description
Alignmint ("we," "us," or "our"), a product of InFocus Ministries, Inc., offers SMS messaging services to help nonprofit organizations communicate with their donors, volunteers, and community members. Messages sent through our platform are informational and transactional in nature. Our messaging program includes:
- Volunteer notifications: Event reminders, schedule updates, and sign-up confirmations for volunteer opportunities.
- Donor communications: Donation receipts, thank-you messages, campaign updates, and giving reminders.
- Event alerts: Event confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and check-in instructions.
- Organization updates: Important announcements, newsletters, and community updates from organizations using the Alignmint platform.
2. Opt-In & Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive recurring SMS/MMS messages from Alignmint and/or the nonprofit organization(s) you are associated with. You may opt in through any of the following methods:
- Web form: Entering your phone number and checking the SMS consent box when signing up as a volunteer, donor, or event attendee on alignmint.app or a connected organization page.
- Inbound keyword: Texting a keyword (e.g., "START," "JOIN," or "VOLUNTEER") to our designated phone number to subscribe to messages.
- Account settings: Enabling SMS notifications in your Alignmint account preferences.
- In-person sign-up: Providing your phone number and consent at an event or organization location via a sign-up form or QR code.
Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt in or out at any time. Consent applies only to Alignmint and the specific organization(s) you interact with—your opt-in will not be shared with or used by any unrelated third parties.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the organization(s) you are connected with and the types of notifications you have opted in to receive. Typical frequency is approximately 1 to 10 messages per month, but may be higher during active campaigns or event periods. You can adjust your notification preferences at any time through your account settings.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Alignmint does not charge any additional fees for SMS messages. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from Alignmint messages. No further texts will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe."
- Account settings: Log in to your account at alignmint.app and disable SMS notifications in your preferences.
- Contact us: Email steven@getalignmint.org with your phone number and a request to unsubscribe.
After opting out, you may still receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your request. Opting out of SMS will not affect other communications (e.g., email notifications). To re-subscribe, text START to our number or re-enable SMS in your account settings.
6. How to Get Help (HELP)
For help or questions about our SMS program, you can:
- Reply HELP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a response with program details and support contact information.

7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS services are supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and their affiliates. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy & Data Sharing
We respect your privacy. Your phone number and messaging data will be used solely for the purposes described in this policy. SMS opt-in consent and phone number data will not be sold, rented, shared, or distributed to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected as part of our SMS program includes your phone number, opt-in/opt-out status, and message delivery data. This information is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the messaging service.
9. Content & Liability
SMS messages may include links to web pages on getalignmint.org or alignmint.app. We are not responsible for content on third-party websites. Alignmint is not liable for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by wireless carriers, network issues, or device compatibility.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via SMS or email. Continued participation in the messaging program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
