By accessing or using Alignmint's website at getalignmint.org and software platform at alignmint.app (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Alignmint provides cloud-based nonprofit management software, including fund accounting, donor management, volunteer management, event ticketing, and related tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you upload to Alignmint. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely to provide the Services to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any data you enter into the platform, including donor and volunteer information, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
Use the Services to transmit malware or other harmful code
Resell or redistribute the Services without our written consent

6. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored through the current billing period.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Free Tier

Alignmint offers a free tier with limited features. Free accounts may be subject to usage limits. We reserve the right to modify free tier availability at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, and logos, are owned by Alignmint and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alignmint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your account through the platform or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days after termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
