Mission and programs

Enlighten youth from under-resourced communities with financial life skills and resources to prevent poverty and rise to a higher economic position. Our impact at 8 Cents in a Jar has produced more financially capable students as they enter adulthood and allow them to climb the socioeconomic ladder (from lower class to middle income). For the first time in the students' family's history, the reliance on applying for public assistance has diminished, and a reality of economic inclusion is within reach.
