Mission and programs

THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO ADDRESS THE PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT OF INJURIES OF THE BRAIN OCCURRING PRIMARILY IN SPORTS ACTIVITIES. TO THAT END, THE FOUNDATION, THROUGH ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL PROVIDE GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF BRAIN INJURY. THE FOUNDATION WILL BE ASSISTED BY AN ADVISORY PANEL, CONSISTING OF SOME OF THE MOST RENOWNED NEUROSURGEONS IN THE COUNTRY, WHO WILL HELP THE FOUNDATION ANALYZE AND REVIEW GRANT PROPOSALS. ADDITIONALLY, THE FOUNDATION WILL HELP TO COORDINATE AND SPONSOR BRAIN RESEARCH SEMINARS, SYMPOSIUMS, PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.
