CRISIS INTERVENTION & ADVOCACY CENTER IS AN ADVOCACY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO RESPOND TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE, SEXUAL ASSUALT, STALKING, DATING VIOLENCE, AND HOMELESSNESS IN ADAIR, ADAMS, CLARKE, DALLAS, DECATUR, GUTHRIE, MADISON, RINGGOLD, TAYLOR, & UNION COUNTIES. THE CENTER OFFERS A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE, NON-JUDGEMENTAL ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH VICTIMS/SURVIVORS CAN RECEIVE SUPPORT, EXPLORE OPTIONS, SET PRIORITIES, AND MAKE DECISIONS AS THEY BEGIN THEIR HEALING JOURNEY. THE CENTER'S PHILOSOPHY IS TO EMPOWER VICTIMS/SURVIVORS TO CLAIM OR TAKE BACK THEIR RIGHT TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. THIS INCLUDES THE RIGHT TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOME, RECEIVE SERVICES THAT ARE EMPATHETIC AND RESPECTFUL, AND THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THEIR OWN NEEDS. ALL SERVICES PROVIDED ARE FREE, VOLUNTARY, CONFIDENTIAL, AND AVAILABLE TO ALL WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION. ALL SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
