NOBCChE is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the academic and professional advancement of students and professionals in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. In FY2024, NOBCChE hosted its national conference in Orlando, Florida, welcoming 802 registered participants. The program featured 137 technical talks, 400 poster presentations, 55 professional and student development workshops, and a STEM Festival for over 100 elementary students. A highlight was the Career and Academic Expo with over 100 universities, companies, and agencies. NOBCChE also celebrated excellence through its prestigious awards luncheons and closing ceremony, where more than 30 awards were presented. In collaboration with the National Science Foundation, the conference included new initiatives such as speed coaching and an innovation tank competition. In total, the event impacted more than 1,200 individuals, advancing NOBCChE's mission to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
