THE PURPOSE OF VAST IS TO COORDINATE THE DEVELOPMENT, MAINTENANCE, AND MANAGEMENT OF VERMONT'S STATEWIDE SNOWMOBILE TRAILS SYSTEM (SSTS) AS WELL AS TO EDUCATE VERMONT SNOWMOBILERS ABOUT THE SAFE, RESPONSIBLE OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES, AND THE PROTECTION OF VERMONT'S ENVIRONMENT.
