BOTH ENTITIES ARE OPERATED AND MANAGED BY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ALSO EMPLOYEES OF WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY, A GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY AND A PART OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. WSU INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IS THE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO) THAT OPERATES IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO FURTHER THE MISSION TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, SCIENCE, AND RESEARCH FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
