The Agency advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system based on the belief that children are entitled to and have an inherent right to a safe and permanent home.The Agency began operating under the name of CASA of Siskiyou County to work in the court system through trained citizen volunteers, in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to serve as the child's advocate and represent the best interest of the child in juvenile court.
