To assist all of the youth of our valley including the at risk & under-served, to grow in character and in their faith. We provide an after school program with various classes, as well as a young parent program and food distribution program providing food to our community.

We provide logistical support to schools that GSFB does not have the staffing and/or funding capacity to serve directly, and full program support to schools that are not eligible for GSFB reduced or free food donations. We help GSFB eligible schools acorss York County.

THE YOUTH FUND OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND SOUND CHARACTER AMONG YOUTH. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO MEMBERS OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JURISDICTION, ORDER OF DEMOLAY FOR HIGHER EDUCATION AND MEETING SPACEFOR THE MASONIC YOUTH GROUPS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

YOUTH FX IS DESIGNED TO EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE AGES 10-25 BY TEACHING THEM THE TECHNICAL AND CREATIVE ASPECTS OF DIGITAL FILM MAKING AND MEDIA PRODUCTION. PRIMARY MISSION IS TO WORK WITH DIVERSE GROUPS OF YOUTH FROM COMMUNITIES THAT HAVE BEEN HISTORICALLY UNDER-SERVED AND IN NEED OF OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN FILMMAKING AND ACQUIRE SKILLS IN EMERGING MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES. YOUTH FX HANDS-ON PROGRAMMING DEVELOPS LEADERSHIP SKILLS, CREATIVITY, AND CRITICAL THINKING, THROUGH THE COLLABORATIVE AND ARTISTIC PROCESS OF MAKING FILMS, AMPLIFYING THE VOICES OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE CAPITAL REGION OF NEW YORK STATE AND AROUND THE WORLD.

THE FIRST TEE PARTICIPANTS THEN APPLY THESE CORE VALUES TAUGHT ON THE GOLF COURSE TO EVERYDAY LIFE.

CONNECTING TOP UNIVERSITIES, NFL TEAMS, AND LOCAL SPONSORS WITH INNER CITY MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS, YIP SITS IN A UNIQUE POSITION IN THE WORLD OF SPORT-FOR-DEVELOPMENT AND WILL CONTINUE TO LEVERAGE THE PROGRAMS STRENGTHS UNTIL WE HAVE POSITIVELY IMPACTED THE AT-RISK YOUTH OF EVERY MAJOR METRPOLITAN AREA IN THE COUNTRY.
