Automate thank-yous, win-backs, and event follow-ups from Fundraising → Donor Journeys. The builder lists eleven templates. Each email, text, or mail step bills Minties so automation spend stays visible. On Free you can build a journey, but email and text sends are blocked until Plus, Pro, or Enterprise. Postcard and letter steps are available on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise. The eleven templates can run after you activate them on a plan that is allowed to send.

Donor Journeys are Fundraising automations triggered by gifts, tags, lapses, birthdays, holidays, or event dates. The shipped builder is a linear flow—pick a trigger, add timed actions, and activate. Failed email or text responses mark the run as failed instead of silently succeeding.

Quick Start exposes eleven templates, including major-donor VIP, new donor welcome, recurring anniversary, lapsed re-engagement, event follow-up, year-end campaign, cancelled recurring win-back, monthly upgrade ask, volunteer-to-donor, and LYBUNT year-end. Treat the list as a starting library, then confirm a test run before you rely on a journey for a live appeal.

Common Tasks

Activate a welcome series

1. Open Fundraising → Donor Journeys and pick a template such as New Donor Welcome.
2. Review triggers, delays, and estimated Minties per run.
3. Activate when your balance covers expected volume; pause anytime from the journey list.

Set optional monthly Minties caps in the builder to prevent runaway automation spend. Direct-mail steps need uploaded print templates before they can send. Authoring is fund-scoped—build journeys on the fund that owns the donors.
