Letter Campaigns

Quick Answer: Letter Campaigns

Send Snail Mail postcards and letters from Fundraising with Minties preflight, mailable-donor filtering, and fulfillment through Alignmint’s print partner—no post office trips.

Snail Mail (Letter Campaigns)

Letter campaigns refer to Alignmint Snail Mail: physical postcards and letters sent from Fundraising → Snail Mail. Staff upload front artwork, choose recipients, review Minties cost, and submit jobs that deduct credits before print partners receive the order. Handwritten mail is legacy-only and not available for new sends.

What You Can Do

  • Run a guided Design → Recipients → Review flow for postcards or letters
  • Select mailable donors with valid addresses; skipped addresses are recorded on the job
  • Choose letter sheet count (1, 2, or 3 pages) with pricing that matches printed mail charges
  • Track send progress, delivery issues, and campaign analytics inside the hub

What It Costs (Minties)

  • Postcards: 100 (4.25×6″), 150 (6×8.5″), or 200 (6×11″) Minties each by size
  • Letters: 200 Minties for one sheet; 250 Minties for two- or three-sheet letters

Common Tasks

Mail a year-end postcard

  1. Open Fundraising → Snail Mail and upload or select ready template artwork.
  2. Pick mailable donors—often from a mailing list or donor report handoff.
  3. Confirm Minties preflight totals on Review, then submit once; duplicate active jobs are blocked.

Good to Know

Snail Mail requires Plus or higher and sufficient Minties balance. Alignmint deducts credits when the job is accepted; provider failures follow the documented refund path.

Donor Journeys can trigger postcard or letter steps on Plus+ plans; free-tier journeys block direct-mail actions at save and runtime. Personalization today is template-level; per-donor PDF letters remain on the roadmap.
