Minties are marketing credits for email, SMS, Snail Mail, background checks, and other metered Fundraising actions. Plus, Pro, and Enterprise receive a monthly pool; purchased packs never expire.

Minties

Minties unify billing for paid outreach inside Alignmint. Your balance appears in the Fundraising header pill and in Minties Manager, with ledger history by fund. Free plans do not receive a monthly free pool; metered sends require purchasing credits or upgrading.

Monthly Free Pools

• Plus: 2,500 Minties per month (use or lose)
• Pro: 10,000 Minties per month
• Enterprise: 25,000+ Minties per month (custom agreements may apply)

Common Send Costs

• Email: 1 Minty on Free/Plus; 0 on Pro/Enterprise
• SMS: 2 on Free/Plus; 1 on Pro/Enterprise (eligible opted-in numbers only)
• Postcards: 100 / 150 / 200 by size
• Letters: 200 (one sheet) or 250 (two–three sheets)
• Video fundraising pages: 0

Common Tasks

Check balance before a big send

1. Click the Minties pill in the Fundraising header or open Minties Manager.
2. Compare remaining credits to recipient count × per-send cost.
3. Purchase a top-up pack or wait for the monthly reset if needed.

Good to Know

Monthly free credits reset on the first of the month and do not roll over. Purchased packs stay until spent. Child funds consume parent-org pools according to your fund-accounting setup; Minties Manager shows spending organization on each line.

Snail Mail, many journey mail steps, and Checkr background-check invitations require Plus or higher plus sufficient balance. Email and SMS remain available on Free when you buy credits, but per-send rates follow the Free tier table above.
