Customize Your Look

Everyone works differently. Some prefer a bright, clean interface while others prefer dark mode for late-night work sessions. Alignmint lets you customize the appearance of your dashboard to match your preferences and working style.

Theme Options

• Light Mode: A clean, bright interface with white backgrounds and crisp contrast. The default for most users.
• Dark Mode: A darker color scheme that's easier on the eyes in low-light environments. Reduces eye strain during evening or nighttime work sessions.
• System: Automatically matches your device's appearance settings. If your computer switches to dark mode at sunset, Alignmint follows suit.

Where to Change Your Theme

1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner
2. Select "Settings" or "Appearance"
3. Choose Light, Dark, or System
4. The change takes effect immediately—no page reload needed

You can also change the theme from Organization Settings → Appearance if you're an admin.

Per-User Settings

Theme preferences are saved per user, not per organization. If you prefer dark mode but your colleague prefers light mode, you each see your own preference when you log in.

Accessibility

Alignmint is designed with accessibility in mind:

• Keyboard Navigation: Navigate the entire app using keyboard shortcuts and tab navigation
• Screen Reader Support: Proper ARIA labels and semantic HTML for screen reader compatibility
• Color Contrast: Both light and dark themes meet WCAG AA contrast requirements
• Responsive Design: The interface adapts to any screen size from desktop to tablet to mobile

Branding

Your organization's logo (uploaded in Organization Settings) appears in the sidebar and on all donor-facing pages regardless of which theme you use.
