Fundraiser Ledger shows how much a campaign or appeal raised versus how much was spent on linked purposes—net balance and utilization in one timeline. Select a fundraiser (Alignmint creates a linked Purpose when you publish many giving pages); donations tagged to that purpose appear in green while linked expenses from Expenses appear in red. Leadership sees net campaign results for board updates instead of headline gross totals alone.

Open Fund Accounting → Fundraiser Ledger. Donations flow automatically when gifts use the purpose; finance manually links expenses to the same purpose during approval. The screen is routable even when it is not always shown as a hub card—search Fund Accounting if your layout differs. Fund accounting requires Plus or higher. Pair with Donation Pages and Purpose Manager for setup.

Utilization percent helps boards see whether raised dollars actually funded program delivery versus sitting unspent after an appeal ends.

Common Tasks

Review an annual gala fund

1. Open Fund Accounting → Fundraiser Ledger and select the gala purpose.
2. Compare donations received to expenses linked during event closeout.
3. Export or screenshot summary cards for the board deck.

Link event expenses to the campaign

1. Approve expenses in Expenses Manager and set the matching purpose.
2. Return to Fundraiser Ledger and confirm red expense rows appear.

Good to Know

UI labels may say Purpose rather than Fundraiser—they refer to the same linking field. Unlinked expenses will not appear until purpose is set on the expense row.
