Connect Your Bank

Connecting your bank accounts to Alignmint gives you automatic daily transaction imports, real-time cash balances, and faster bank reconciliation. It's one of the most time-saving features in the platform.

Setup

1. Go to Administration → Bank Connections
2. Click "Connect Bank"

3. Search for your bank by name

4. Log in through the secure bank connection screen

5. Select which accounts to connect (checking, savings, or both)

6. Alignmint immediately begins importing recent transactions

Security

Alignmint never sees or stores your bank login credentials. The secure bank connection handles that information, and your financial data is protected in transit and at rest.

Alignmint supports thousands of financial institutions in the US and Canada, including major banks, credit unions, and community banks.

Managing Connections

View, refresh, or disconnect bank accounts anytime from Administration → Bank Connections. If your bank requires re-authentication (common every 90 days), you'll see a prompt to update your credentials.
