Donation Receipts
Quick Answer: Donation Receipts
Use receipt and contribution-statement tools to prepare donor acknowledgements from your recorded donation information. Your organization is responsible for reviewing the content, determining whether a receipt meets its legal and tax obligations, and obtaining professional advice when needed.
Receipt Information
Review the organization information, donation date and amount, and any acknowledgement language before sending a receipt. If goods or services were provided, make sure your organization’s disclosure is accurate for that gift. AlignMint does not determine tax deductibility or provide legal or tax advice.
Sending and Access
Depending on the workflow available to your organization, staff may prepare, send, resend, or generate year-end receipt materials. Donors may also be able to access available receipts or statements through the Donor Portal. Review your recipient details and organization policy before sending.
