Multi-Organization Management is designed for fiscal sponsors and umbrella organizations that manage multiple nonprofits under one roof. Each sponsored entity gets its own completely isolated workspace with separate finances, donors, volunteers, and reports—all managed from a single Alignmint account.

Complete Data Isolation

• Separate Chart of Accounts: Each organization has its own chart of accounts tailored to its needs
• Isolated Donor Databases: Donor records are completely separate—Organization A cannot see Organization B's donors
• Individual Financial Reports: Generate Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and all other reports for each organization independently
• Separate Funds: Each entity manages its own fund accounting with no cross-contamination
• Independent Volunteer Records: Volunteer hours and profiles are tracked per organization

Consolidated Reporting

While each organization's data is isolated, fiscal sponsors need to see the big picture too. Consolidated reports aggregate financial data across all sponsored entities so you can:

• View total assets under management across all organizations
• Generate consolidated financial statements for your board
• Track admin fee revenue from all entities in one place
• Compare performance across sponsored organizations

Per-Org User Permissions

Control exactly who can access each organization. A staff member at one sponsored nonprofit should only see their own data, while the fiscal sponsor's admin team needs access across all entities. Role-based permissions handle this seamlessly.

Switching Organizations

Use the organization switcher in the top navigation bar to move between sponsored nonprofits instantly. Your view changes to show only that organization's data, dashboards, and reports.
