Multi-Organization Management is designed for fiscal sponsors and umbrella organizations that manage multiple nonprofits under one roof. Each sponsored organization gets its own workspace with separate finances, donors, volunteers, and reports—all managed from a single Alignmint account.

Separate Records for Each Organization

• Separate Chart of Accounts: Each organization has its own chart of accounts tailored to its needs

• Separate Donor Records: Donor records stay separate for each sponsored organization

• Individual Financial Reports: Generate Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and all other reports for each organization independently

• Separate Funds: Each organization manages its own fund accounting records

• Independent Volunteer Records: Volunteer hours and profiles are tracked per organization

Consolidated Reporting

Fiscal sponsors still need to see the big picture. Shared reports bring financial data across sponsored organizations together so you can:

• Compare performance across sponsored organizations

Permissions by Organization

Control exactly who can access each organization. A staff member at one sponsored nonprofit should only see their own data, while the fiscal sponsor's admin team needs access across all organizations. Role-based permissions keep that access clear.

Switching Organizations

Use the organization switcher in the top navigation bar to move between sponsored nonprofits instantly. Your view changes to show only that organization's data, dashboards, and reports.
