Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard is the first screen you see after sign-in. It summarizes how fundraising and finances are doing today so you can spot issues early and jump into the right tool without hunting through menus.

What You Can Do

• Review year-to-date and month-to-date giving, donor counts, and cash balances on one screen

• Watch donation trends and fund mix charts update as new gifts post

• Scan recent donations, tasks, and alerts from the activity feed

• Open Quick Actions to record a gift, expense, or follow-up in one click

Common Tasks

Check today's fundraising pulse

1. Sign in and land on the dashboard.
2. Compare month-to-date giving to your annual goal if you use goals.
3. Click a recent donation to open the donor or gift detail.

Share a snapshot with leadership

1. Note the headline totals and trend chart for the period you need.
2. Open Reports for a formal PDF, or customize widgets so executives see KPIs first.

Watch goal progress during a campaign

1. Confirm your annual goal is set in dashboard settings if you use goals.
2. Check the celebration widget after large gifts post.
3. Adjust outreach when pace trails the goal curve for the quarter.

Good to Know

Fund Summary and some advanced widgets appear on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise plans that include fund accounting. Free plans still show core donation metrics and Quick Actions. Widget layout is personal: each user can customize their own dashboard without changing anyone else's view.

Refresh the page if you expect a new gift and do not see it yet; most widgets update within moments of posting. Bookmark the dashboard after sign-in if your team starts the day with the same routine.

When two leaders compare numbers, agree on the same date range and fund in the header menu first. Small habits like that prevent friendly disagreements in committee meetings.
