Recurring gifts are available only where the current payment profile, checkout surface, and current payment setup support a recurring schedule. Review the schedule and options shown at signup rather than assuming a method or frequency is universally available.

For Donors

Donors can use the Donor Portal and any provider-hosted tools made available for their payment record. Never ask a donor to send payment details by email. A hosted tool may provide payment updates or scheduled cancellation when that capability is available.

For Staff

Review recurring-payment details in Payment Management and follow the actions shown for the specific record. Do not promise pause, resume, immediate cancellation, amount changes, or billing-day changes. Those controls appear only when shown or supported for that payment record.

Payment Outcomes

Processor-confirmed payment outcomes are retained with recorded payment evidence and then move through accounting and reconciliation follow-up. Payment, accounting, and donor follow-up are separate steps. Contact the donor using your organization’s normal stewardship process if a payment needs follow-up.
