Self-Service for Donors

The Donor Portal gives your supporters 24/7 access to manage their giving relationship with your organization. Donors can view history, download receipts, and manage recurring donations without contacting your staff.

Donor Dashboard

When donors log in, they see a personalized dashboard with:

  • Lifetime Giving: Total amount donated over all time
  • Year-to-Date: Donations in the current calendar year
  • Donation Count: Number of gifts made
  • Giving Streak: Consecutive months/years of giving

Donation History

  • View all past donations with dates, amounts, and payment methods
  • Filter by date range or fund
  • Sort by date or amount
  • Download individual receipts for any donation

Tax Documents

  • Annual Contribution Statement: Year-end summary for tax purposes
  • PDF Download: Print-ready tax receipts
  • Email Option: Have documents sent to their email

Payment Methods

Donors can manage their saved payment methods:

  • Add new credit cards or bank accounts
  • Remove old payment methods
  • Set a default payment method
  • Update expiring cards

Recurring Donations

Full control over recurring gifts:

  • Pause: Temporarily stop donations
  • Resume: Restart paused donations
  • Cancel: End the recurring donation
  • Update Amount: Increase or decrease the gift
  • Change Payment Method: Switch to a different card

Profile Settings

  • Update contact information (email, phone, address)
  • Set email preferences (receipts, newsletters, appeals)
  • Change password

How Donors Access the Portal

Donors receive a magic link via email to access their portal - no password required. They can also create a password for traditional login if preferred.
