Donor Reporting

Donor Reports help you understand your donor base, comply with tax requirements, and make data-driven fundraising decisions. From year-end tax receipts to giving analysis, everything you need for donor stewardship and board presentations is here.

Available Reports

• Year-End Tax Summary: Individual giving summaries for each donor showing every donation for the calendar year. IRS-compliant with your organization name, EIN, and tax-deductibility statement. Send in bulk or let donors download from the Donor Portal.
• Donor List: Exportable list of all donors with contact info, lifetime giving total, last gift date, and giving frequency. Filter by date range, amount, or giving level.
• LYBUNT Report: "Last Year But Unfortunately Not This Year"—donors who gave last year but haven't given yet this year. Critical for retention campaigns.
• SYBUNT Report: "Some Year But Unfortunately Not This Year"—donors who gave at some point in the past but not this year. Useful for re-engagement outreach.
• Giving Levels: Donors grouped by giving tier ($1–$99, $100–$499, $500–$999, $1,000+) so you can see the distribution of your donor base.
• First-Time Donors: Donors who made their first-ever gift during a date range. These are critical to cultivate quickly.

Generating Reports

1. Go to Reports → Donor Reports
2. Select the report type
3. Set filters (date range, amount, donor type)
4. Click "Generate"
5. Export to PDF or CSV

Batch Year-End Receipts

At year-end, generate tax summaries for all donors at once. Choose to email them directly, download a batch PDF, or both. Donors who use the Donor Portal can also access their summaries online.

Using Reports for Fundraising

Combine the LYBUNT report with Mailing Lists to create targeted re-engagement campaigns. Use Giving Levels to segment donors for major gift cultivation vs. annual fund appeals.
