Ticket Management
Quick Answer: Ticket Management
Ticket Management controls inventory, pricing tiers, promo codes, and capacity for each event. Finance and development see real-time registration counts without opening the public page. Refunds and comp tickets stay tied to the attendee record for check-in. AlignMint does not collect sales tax on tickets.
Requires Plus or above with Events & Ticketing. Pair with Event Financial Report for net revenue and Event Registration for the guest-facing checkout. Payment is only for eligible non-taxable events after Giving Setup and event-revenue mapping.
Ticket Management
Manage ticket types, pricing, promo codes, and inventory for each event. Paid checkout stays off unless the event qualifies as non-taxable under your Giving Setup.
Common Tasks
- Add early-bird and VIP ticket tiers
- Create percentage or fixed promo codes
- Cap quantity so you do not oversell a room
- Issue comps or process refunds
Good to Know
Tax collection is unsupported. Do not tell guests that AlignMint will add sales tax at checkout. If an event needs taxable sales, keep registration free in AlignMint and handle payment outside the product, or choose a non-taxable format that Giving Setup allows.
Exports support PDF and Excel on most operational views for board packets and CPA handoffs. Related: Creating Events, Event Types.
