Email Campaigns

Email Campaigns in the Fundraising hub replace separate marketing software for most nonprofits. Campaigns move through a five-step builder: settings, recipients, design choice, build, and review. Sent campaigns stay in the list for analytics; duplicate a sent campaign to reuse content as a new draft.

What You Can Do

• Send to all donors, volunteers, prospects, a saved mailing list, or comma-separated individual addresses
• Deduplicate by household so one message goes to the primary contact when enabled
• Personalize with dynamic fields, event blocks, and uploaded images stored as public HTTPS assets
• Send tests, send now, or schedule; edit or cancel scheduled campaigns before the send window
• Review opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes after delivery

Common Tasks

Launch a thank-you send after an appeal

1. Open Fundraising → Email Campaigns and start a new campaign.
2. Choose recipients (often All Donors or a mailing list) and enable household dedupe if spouses share an address.
3. Complete the email builder, send a test to yourself, then send or schedule from Review.

Good to Know

Minties email costs are tier-based: Free and Plus deduct 1 Minty per delivered email; Pro and Enterprise email sends do not deduct Minties. Hard bounces refund only what was charged.

Scheduled campaigns store rendered content for the automatic sender while keeping structured builder data for edits. Image URLs must be HTTPS and reachable—use the builder upload flow instead of temporary blob links.
