The Email Builder is the compose experience behind Fundraising email campaigns. After campaign settings and recipients, you choose a default layout or template, arrange blocks on a desktop canvas, and finalize in Review where send-test, send-now, and schedule actions live.

What You Can Do

• Add text, headings, buttons, images, columns, dividers, and event cards with a left Add/Styles rail
• Upload images to organization storage so outbound HTML uses stable HTTPS URLs
• Preview desktop and mobile layouts before sending; Review shows final subject, from, and recipient counts
• Save drafts per fund scope and reopen scheduled campaigns from stored builder JSON when available
• Insert smart tags such as first name, organization name, and view-in-browser links

Common Tasks

Build from a designed template

1. Start a campaign from Fundraising → Email Campaigns.
2. Complete settings and recipients, then pick Basic layout or Fully designed template.
3. Edit copy and buttons in Build, preview, and move to Review for a test send.

Good to Know

The builder is desktop-gated—use a full-width browser for block editing. Recipient counts on the recipients step use the same validation and household dedupe rules as the final send, so “0 recipients” usually means loading or invalid emails—not a broken list.
