Volunteer Applications

Volunteer Applications lives under Volunteers → Applications with two tabs: Review Queue and Configure Questions. Share the public link (/volunteer-apply/…) on your site or emails, or copy the embed snippet from Form & Access to place the same form on your website. Submissions land in the queue with abuse protections (rate limits, honeypot, duplicate pending checks).

What You Can Do

• Review pending, approved, and rejected applications with search and detail drawer actions
• Customize sections, required fields, and custom questions on the public form
• Embed the public apply form on your website with the Form & Access snippet
• Require an approved application email before public scheduler signup when enabled
• Configure applicant and decision emails in Volunteer Settings → Application Emails

Common Tasks

Approve a new applicant

1. Open Volunteers → Applications → Review Queue.
2. Open the submission, verify answers, and click approve or reject.
3. On approval, AlignMint creates the volunteer roster record; the applicant may still need waivers before serving.

Good to Know

Volunteer Applications requires Plus or higher. Public form drafts save in the applicant’s browser until submit succeeds. The embed uses the same public apply page with embed mode turned on so it fits a hosted page on your site.

Rejection and approval emails respect staff permission gates. Application requirement for scheduler signup is separate from waiver signing—plan both in your volunteer setup checklist.
