Inventory Storefront

Quick Answer: Inventory Storefront

Inventory Storefront is a mobile-friendly point of sale for books, merchandise, and table sales. Ring up an item and it decrements stock and posts product revenue to your books, so a busy sales table and your accounting stay in sync without a second spreadsheet.

Available on Pro and Enterprise from the Tools hub. Set your product revenue and cash accounts in the Chart of Accounts first, connect card payments through Giving Setup, and review results with the Event Financial Report.

Pro or Enterprise. Tools hub requires Plus or above.

Sell and Track in One Place

The Sell tab is built for a phone or tablet: build a cart, attach a buyer, add an optional donation, and take card, cash, or check. The Inventory tab handles stock setup and quantity adjustments, and Sales History shows every transaction with buyer, tender, and product versus donation totals.

What You Can Do

  • Ring up sales from a phone or tablet with a simple cart
  • Attach a donor, prospect, or walk-up buyer to each sale
  • Add an optional donation alongside a purchase
  • Set stock levels and record quantity adjustments
  • Track loanable equipment with per-unit labels and check-in and check-out
  • Review sales history and export item detail to a spreadsheet

Good to Know

Card sales settle through your connected payment account, while cash and check post immediately to the accounts you configured. When a donation rides along with a sale, Alignmint records it as a separate gift so revenue and contributions stay clean. Capital equipment with multi-year life belongs in the Depreciation Calculator, while Inventory Storefront covers items you sell or hand out during the operating year.
