User Settings
Quick Answer: User Settings
Every signed-in user opens Settings at /settings to manage profile, notifications, security, display preferences, and—when authorized—organization details. This is separate from Administration hub tools that require Plus or higher.
Settings at /settings
Five tabs adapt to your role and permissions.
Profile
- Update name, email, phone, job title, and avatar
- Upload a photo (common image formats, size limits apply)
Notifications
- Toggle email and in-app channels
- Role-based categories such as donation alerts, expense approvals, and financial report emails
- Bookkeepers see scheduled financial report options aligned with automatic email reports
Security
- Change password with current-password verification
- Enable or disable two-factor authentication
- View your current session details
Preferences
- Language, time zone, date format, and currency display
- Light or dark theme and compact layout options
Organization tab
Parent organization directors edit master nonprofit details—legal name, EIN, address, logo, and social links—that appear on receipts and giving pages. Fund directors with write access can override specific fields for their fund; blank fields inherit from the parent. Read-only users see organization data but cannot save changes.
For fiscal year defaults and accounting mappings, use Fund Accounting → Chart of Accounts → Account Defaults and see Organization Settings for how Administration tools differ from this page.
Good to Know
Settings is available on all plans for every authenticated user. Billing and subscription management placeholders may appear for future self-service upgrades.
