Event Financial Report
Event Financial Report
The Event Financial Report shows you exactly how much each event raised and how much it cost. Revenue and expenses are displayed side by side so you can see the net result at a glance.
What You'll See
- Revenue Breakdown: Ticket sales, registration fees, donations received at the event, and sponsorships
- Expense Breakdown: Venue costs, catering, supplies, marketing, and any other event-related expenses
- Net Result: Revenue minus expenses—did the event raise money or cost money?
- Per-Event View: Each event gets its own section so you can compare performance across events
Why It Matters
Not every event is a money-maker, and that's okay—some events are about awareness or community building. But you need to know the numbers so you can make informed decisions about which events to repeat, scale up, or retire.
Common Uses
- Post-Event Review: Debrief after each event with real financial data
- Year-Over-Year Comparison: Compare this year's gala to last year's
- Budget Planning: Use past event financials to budget for next year's events
- Board Reporting: Show the board which events generate the best return
