Prospect Management
Quick Answer: Prospect Management
Track cultivation prospects in Fundraising before they become donors. Search, import, email, and convert prospects when the first gift arrives—without polluting Donor CRM.
Prospect Management
Prospects CRM lives in Fundraising → Prospects for major-gift pipelines and lead tracking. Prospects stay separate from Donor Hub until conversion; gift entry and assign-donor flows can promote a prospect to a donor under the receiving fund while preserving source notes.
What You Can Do
- Add prospects manually with source, notes, and contact fields
- Import Excel files and export the filtered list
- Search by name, email, phone, address, status, notes, and added date (server-side pagination)
- Send bulk email to selected prospects from the list actions
- Open a profile to review email history scoped to the prospect’s organization
Common Tasks
Convert a prospect at first gift
- When recording or assigning a donation, search donors and prospects together.
- Select the prospect; Alignmint converts them to a donor for that fund and links the gift.
- Continue stewardship in Donor CRM with history intact.
Good to Know
Prospect write actions require read-write Fundraising access. Parent-org users see prospects per fund; email logs on a profile filter by the prospect’s organization to avoid cross-fund leakage.
Prospects CRM is included with Fundraising on plans that expose the hub. Bulk email uses the same Minties tier rules as other Fundraising email sends.
