Track Donor Pledges

The Pledges Manager helps you track promises to give—donations that donors have committed to but haven't sent yet. This is essential for accrual accounting and helps you forecast incoming revenue.

Summary Dashboard

• Open Pledges: How many pledges are outstanding

• Total Pledged: Total dollar amount promised

• Received: How much has been collected so far

• Outstanding: Remaining balance due

Pledge Lifecycle

• Pledged: New commitment, no payments yet

• Partial: Some payments received

• Fulfilled: Fully paid

• Written Off: Marked as uncollectible

• Cancelled: Donor cancelled the pledge

Features

• Record partial payments against pledges
• Overdue pledges highlighted in red with days overdue
• Search by donor name or campaign
• Link pledges to specific campaigns or giving programs

Note: Pledges Manager is only visible when your accounting basis is set to "Accrual" or "Both" in Appearance settings.
