Registration & Check-in

Guests register from the public event link. They pick available tickets, complete the fields and waivers you set, and follow the confirmation shown for that event.

Paid checkout works only when Giving Setup is done, tickets are set, and the event does not collect sales tax. Tax collection is not supported. Available on PlusProEnterprise with Events & Ticketing.

Online Event Checkout

Do not promise online payment until the event itself shows checkout as available. Finishing Giving Setup is not enough on its own.

For a paid total, guests finish checkout in a secure payment window. Closing that window is not proof registration posted.

Free signup, waitlists, and waivers can still run without card payments. Paid events that need sales tax cannot use online checkout here. Do not tell guests AlignMint will add tax.

Registration Flow

1. A guest opens the public event link from Events Overview or your website.
2. They select available tickets and time slots, then complete required fields.
3. They sign applicable waivers when you require them at registration.
4. They follow the confirmation and payment instructions for that event.

After registration

Some events send a follow-up checklist link for uploads, confirmations, or leftover waiver items. Guests open that link without a staff login. Required waivers are usually signed during registration. Checklist waiver signing remains for older registrations that still have an open item.

Staff check-in on event day is a separate desk. Use QR self check-in or manual check-in from the event dashboard. See Ticket Management for comps, refunds, and capacity.

Good to Know

Auction event types can list items on the public page for browsing only. Live bidding is not available. See Event Types.
